Name: Majiska D'Luo

Nickname(s): Manji, Manji Luo

Age: 22

Species: Human/Raccoon Hybrid (part Human and part Tanuki)

Ethnicity: 40% French/ 25% Japanese / 25% Polish/ 10% Chinese

Gender: Female

Height: 5 feet, 2 inches (157 cm)

Weight: 152 lbs (68.95 kg)

Chest: C-cup

Hair: Forest Green (Natural hair color is a very dark brownish-auburn)

Hair Style: Short, thick, wavy. Usually brushed straight initially, but naturally curls and forms flips towards the ends shortly afterwards. The wavy nature of her hair allows it to look flowy. Her bangs tend to curl slightly inwards to frame her face, while the rest of her hair either hangs straight down or curls outwards and away from her.

Eyes: Brownish-Hazel colored (Contact lenses usually worn, not against wearing glasses)

Dress: Casual, usually comfortable clothing. She is often seen wearing skirts, baggy pants, T-shirts, tank tops, tube tops, arm/leg warmers, necklaces/chokers.

Usual/Default Outfit:
-Top: Usually wears her favorite designer tank top. It is black, and has a buckle design across the top of the neckline to help squeeze her breasts within the top and accentuate her cleavage (when she intends to attract people or wants to flaunt her assets). The tank top is incredibly comfortable, and has bra cups built into the chest of the tank top, making the top act as a sort of sports bra.
-Bottom: Her favorite skirt is a pleated, dark teal skirt. The skirt ends halfway between her hips and her knees, and fully covers her lower regions perfectly. It has a chain design along the right hip, similar to that of a wallet chain or a pocket watch chain. The chain serves no purpose other than for fashion. The skirt itself is very animated, and moves almost as much as Manji does! Manji loves it because it's the cute type of skirt that can be danced in without revealing too much (Although Manji generally moves around so much, even when not dancing, that the skirt often flies up enough to just barely tease everyone nearby).
-Shoes: A simple pair of Converse "Chuck Berries". They are dark teal, chosen specifically to match her skirt. Manji wears these almost religiously, regardless of her attire, because they were a rare, chance find. She had gone on a man-hunt to obtain a pair in her size, and finally obtained them in a store in New York.

-Accessories:

*Black and white striped, stockings

*Dark Teal cotton sweat band, with white stripe in middle.
-Has Fishnet arm warmer-style attachment

*Black leather collar with no buckling mechanism
-Collar has gunmetal
-colored studs all around it
-Because of its design, her collar cannot be removed

Build: Small, but lithe. Small belly pudge, full hips and thighs. She is a small "pear".

Description of Home: Lives alone in a 2-bedroom, 2 story, loft-style apartment. The second bedroom extends to an outside balcony, and is used as a workshop for her projects.

Dominant Character Traits: Bright, cheery, outgoing, optimistic. Loves dancing.

Secondary Character Traits: Bold, absent-minded, flirty, slightly ditzy at times, occasionally competitive. She dislikes backing down from a challenge that she knows she can compete in. She tends to be shy when alone in large crowds, but usually warms up to her usual self when she feels accepted.

Quirks: Very forgetful, sometimes misplaces things, HATES making enemies. It is almost impossible for her to hold a grudge.

Flaws: Tends to get very upset when she sees her friends sad, hurt, upset, or in extreme pain. When traumatized or terrified, she usually adapts child-like traits as she tries to find a safe spot to curl up and cry.

Friends: Too many to list. Always tries to makes friends, never wishes to have enemies.

Family: Nanako D'Luo (Mother), Allix Sinclair (Half-sister), Heather Sinclair (Aunt)

Abilities: Weak, but unconcious healing magic. Her magic applies itself gently in whatever she does, although her healing spells are usually most effective whenever she is bandaging someone or tending to a wound. Although very uncommon, general bodily contact with her will sometimes allow her magic to involuntarily trigger. Her magic tends to flow mostly through her hands, and would prove useful in a fight against any undead creature. Her magic cannot heal mechanical parts, but instead makes her more successful at repairing, building, and tinkering electronics and mechanical components.

Habits: Loves dancing and enjoys going to clubs and parties. She loves hugs and gives them openly. Tends to have her mind in the gutter often, if only to taunt and terrorize her closed-minded friends. Never misses the opportunity to make a horrible pun.

Talents: Excellent Video Game skills. Extensive knowledge of video games and electronics. Can reverse engineer anything if given enough time, and can sometimes even recreate complicated machinery if she knows only a portion of the components.

Hobbies: Enjoys playing video games, B-movies, most kinds of music, and playing card games. Also loves tinkering or building gadgets, computers, and various robotic components.

Education: Has a high school education, and is self-taught in gadgetry and engineering.

Sexual Preferences: Pansexual

Other Notes: Manji speaks English perfectly, but has a French accent. However, she does not flaunt this accent with French words. She prefers to speak American.

Bio:

Manji was born and raised with her mother and father in North Carolina. Growing up, she was known to be a bit of a tomboy, as she had to defend herself for being made fun of for having raccoon ears and a raccoon tail. Though her family was ridiculed and ostracized at times for being hybrids rather than fully human or fully furry, her father led a very respectable life as a mechanical engineer. Manji was always a bright child, and attempted to model herself after her father. When she wasn't playing video games, she was busy watching her father tinker with electronics around the house, and fix up machines people brought to him. Although she grew up loving video games, she seemed to love pokemon more than anything, and would gladly play it while watching her father build things.

Eventually, Manji's parents decided that she needed to vary her skills and interests, and decided to send her off to an expensive, private, all-girls academy in France. Manji's father had many friends there that helped him get his daughter there, and acted as fatherly figures to her. Although Manji hated it at first, she stayed in that academy from middle school all the way up through high school.

During her time away at the academy, Manji's parents left to go on a vacation to Brazil. They had decided to explore the Amazon, as a part of their grand, expensive vacation. Sadly, that was the last Manji had heard of them. Manji's parents were pronounced dead a few months later. Only one member of their expedition party had survived, and when he returned to deliver the news, he looked on the verge of death, himself.

News of the death of her parents sent Manji into a terrible depression. Although she still worked hard in school, she cried to herself at night for the longest time. At only age 13, the shock of losing her family traumatized her so much that over the summer break, at the end of that semester, she had to be taken to a mental ward. She found herself in a childlike state, where she needed her mother's care more than anything. The highly skilled nurses there were all too willing to play along, and pampered her like any other child would be. She made a swift recovery by the end of the summer, and was perfectly ready to return to normal life for the fall semester, but she then carried with her a hidden love for feeling padded all over. Whether it was a thick, snuggly blanket, or even something as ridiculous as a diaper, she found security in such things during the nights for the next several months. However, Manji refrained from talking about her parents from then on. To this day, whenever someone starts talking in detail about her mother and her father, she starts to cry and slowly regress to that childlike state of trauma.

All through Manji's mourning, and for the rest of her schooling, an old, close friend of her father's had decided to take care of her and support her. He was the closest father figure she had, and tried to be as best as he could to her in place of him. But he could still never replace what was lost...

As Manji made her way through the rest of her schooling, she found the need to open up and meet new people. She quickly adapted a whole new personality, and attempted to be the person that was everyone's friend. She opened up and found new interests and hobbies, eventually learning that she loved dancing and socializing just as much as playing video games. In between her social life and her newfound hobby of Magic: the Gathering, she tinkered and built little trinkets for the younger girls at the academy. She always did so, and wanted to use the crescent wrench of her father's that she had brought with her when she left. She eventually found that she was much more skilled at engineering more than anything else, and focused all of her free time into learning and bettering her skills in this area towards the end of her time at the academy.

Upon graduating from the academy, she chose to return to the United States to try and continue her life there. Her father's friend felt confident enough to provide her with enough money to do so. On her 18th birthday, she returned to America and began to work towards a new life. She travelled all over the East coast, taking small jobs to earn money and improve her skills, but she never felt like she fit in. She did this for two years, until she was mugged one night in a street in New York. She blacked out fairly quickly and did not remember any detail of the incident. When she woke up, two full days had passed, and she was sitting in a hospital with absolutely no injuries. Nothing had been stolen from her, no money lost in her bank account, and nothing seemed to be wrong with her. No internal damage or signs of abuse. The only odd thing about her was that she now sported a sleek, black leather collar, with studs the color of gunmetal around the entire length. No one knew how it got on her, and no one at the hospital could remove it. The object had no buckle mechanism to unlatch and remove, and it was strangely resilient to any form of sharp blade. It could not even be tugged off, as it tended to choke her. Yet when not under stress, the collar seemed to fit snugly around her neck, gently stretching its fibers as her neck moved with every breath and movement. As creepy as it was, Manji eventually came to feel almost as if the collar had become a part of her.

Regardless, after this disturbing event, Manji vowed to move far away from the place that housed whoever did this to her. She set off to explore the rest of the country. Manji gathered what little belongings she had left, bought a new set of clothes, and set off on the road. After traveling the country and seeing most of the United States, she eventually wound up in Seattle, Washington. There, she met a pretty girl named Allix Sinclair. They met each other when Manji was working on a piece of equipment for the delivery company Allix worked for. By this time, Manji had been around so many people that she had figured out that she was not attracted to just one gender. People of any gender could look attractive to her, but she was incredibly shy about this fact of herself. Allix noticed that Manji had been glancing over at her the entire time she was in the delivery company's offices, and invited Manji to spend time with her after they were both done with their work. After Allix had finished her last delivery, and after Manji had finished repairing the machine for her company, they both went out on a date. They spent the entire time together, and as they got close, Allix found a certain spark within her that allowed her to turn into a raccoon/human hybrid just like Manji! Manji was thrilled at this, and almost nearly fainted. She felt like she was in love!

Allix eventually invited her home to meet her mother. When Allix introduced Manji to her mother, Heather Sinclair, Heather paused for a bit and didn't ask a single other question. Allix and Manji went off to Allix's room as Heather thought. She seemed puzzled by the name "Manji" as she could have sworn she'd heard it before. And then it clicked! Heather raced over to her daughter's room and burst through the door. Right there, when Manji's young, inexperienced lips were only a few short centimeters away from Allix's own lips, Allix's mother cried out for Manji to stop kissing her baby sister.

Upon revealing the details of how and why, it was clear to Manji that her mother, Nanako, had been very close friends with Heather, even going so far as to compete for the same man as Heather. Although both had made love to the same man, and both were given his seed, Nanako was chosen over Heather. Even more interesting was the fact that both mothers remained friends for a while after. When Manji was born, Heather was intended to be Manji's Godmother. However, someone else was chosen over Heather.

All of this was big news to the raccoon girl, as she had thought she was the only child her father had had. Moreso, Manji found out that she had a half-sister! The fact that she was about to make out with her baby sister was incredibly embarrassing, but Manji still could not help but feel a bit of affection towards Allix. Allix felt the same way, if not moreso, going to far as to latch onto Manji and hug her tightly. It was almost as if the fact that they were related by blood had made their bond of friendship grow even stronger! And even though they were no longer attracted to each other, their bond of sisterly love for each other was so strong that just being around Manji could bring out the Tanuki-like qualities in Allix! But the best thing of all…Manji finally found the comfort and love she needed after all these years. Manji had finally found her family…it wasn't her mother and father, but this was better than what she could have ever hoped for! Manji decided to settle down in Seattle, and moved into an apartment about a mile or two down the road from Allix and Heather. She now had an Aunt and a baby sister to help take care of…and more importantly…ones that would help take care of her.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Manji works out of her apartment, creating gadgets and crafting objects of various use and design. She even does drafting work for engineering and structural companies, and is commissioned to draw up schematics for certain machinery.

If you ever need someone to build you a car; should you ever need someone to help build the equipment for your evil lair; if you want a gun made to take out that one person; should you ever need someone to fix something, whether it's a washing machine or a sentry turret; if you just started the zombie apocalypse, and all you need right now is someone with a smile and a steam-powered maul to make it be hammer time…

Look for the little green-haired girl with a big, fluffy, brown-and-black striped tail. She's usually either down at the Trinity, or can be seen on the second floor balcony of her apartment.

Where ever she is, she'll be dancing.

This is Manji's NEW new character bio!

Unlike the first two iterations, this one is a total retcon of everything that has been worked on up until this point!

This bio is not strictly my personality. I will always try to infuse my personality into Manji whenever possible, and I usually do with no problems. However, this bio was designed around her as a character, specifically to give her a more cohesive backstory, and define her as a character for anyone that would wish to use her as a character for any stories they might want to make. Again, for anyone wishing to use her and know more about her, just ask me! ^_^

Things to note:

-This bio was designed around Manji as a character, but it was loosely designed to act as a rough character build for Manji in a pen and paper RPG. If someone should choose her, or if I would ever want to use her in one, she could easily be made into a character if necessary, and was designed to be a low level magic-user. She is not even aware of her own abilities, but she is definitely sensitive to magic and supernatural abilities, so she can recognize them even though she fails to recognize her own abilities. Should she ever get used, she would need to be trained from the ground up if she was intended to be an adept magic user.

The paths that her magic could take her down are strictly limited to:
All white magic and priest spells (shadow-style priests from World of Warcraft might be a possibility, but she definitely has more points towards the light arts rather than the dark arts)
Transformation skill trees in the Mage profession
Electricity/Lightning elemental spells in the Sorceress/Black Mage profession
All Technomancy (some details would be altered, but she would make for the perfect Technomancer if you were to use her in Rifts)

-While this bio is stand-alone, :icontagtameraj:'s bio for Allix contains more info towards the more recent. After talk and discussion, Allix and Manji are officially sisters! Blood relation FTW!

(And now we can commence the sisterly fights and feuds between the two! xD)
